AILET Exam Pattern 2021 – National Law University (NLU), Delhi will release the exam pattern of AILET 2021 at the time of release of admission notification. The AILET 2021 exam pattern 2021 will contain insights into the structure and format of the national-level exam, including the mode of exam, types of questions asked, marking scheme, and subjects or syllabus of the exam. The candidate must use the AILET exam pattern 2021 as a base on which they can build their preparation. For example, as per the exam pattern the AILET 2021 question paper will include 150 questions which have to be answered in 90 minutes, which is less than a minute per question. AILET PG 2021 – Subjects

Questions in the entrance exam will be asked questions from all major subjects of law, including:

  • Criminal Law
  • Constitutional Law
  • Law of Contract
  • Jurisprudence
  • Law of Tort and International Law, etc.

Sanctioned AILET-based seat intake for various law programs offered by NLU Delhi:

  • UG – 110 seats
  • PG – 70 seats

Admission to the above seats will be based on marks obtained by the candidate in the AILET 2021 entrance exam. 

Admission of Foreign Nationals

  1. There are 10 additional seats each for the UG and the PG program reserved for foreign nationals
  2. Direct admission through merit of qualifying exam.   

AILET Merit List 2021

The merit list of AILET 2021 will be determined based on marks obtained in the entrance exam. However in case of two or more candidates scoring the same marks in the exam, the following tie-breaking procedure will be adopted.

  1. Percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 exam
  2. The marks obtained in Class 10
  3. If tie is still unbroken, then the candidate older in age will be ranked higher.

AILET 2021 Exam-day guidelines

  1. The candidate needs to bear in mind the official exam pattern when answering questions. 
  2. For example, since there is negative marking one must be judicious about doing guesswork. 
  3. Documents: The candidate must bring with them the AILET admit card 2021 and a valid photo id proof on the day of the exam. 
  4. Items like electronic gadgets, written text, or any other item which can be used to gain an advantage over other candidates is not allowed inside the AILET 2021 exam venue.
  5. Anyone found in possession of such items will be disqualified. 
  6. The candidate must report at the AILET 2021 exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

AILET application form 2021

The university will release the application form of AILET 2021 tentatively 3rd week of January. The AILET 2021 application form will be released in online mode and may be filled by candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, including that of qualifying exam passed and minimum marks. Also, when filling the application form, one must use only genuine and verifiable information, because all details will be checked during document verification, which is a part of the counselling process.

To fill the AILET application form 2021, the candidate needs to first get registered, fill the form, pay the application fee, upload documents, and submit the completed form.
