- ASTU conducts the state-level Assam CEE 2020 entrance exam for admission to various B.Tech courses in engineering colleges in Assam.

Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2020
The applicant has to meet the following Assam CEE 2020 eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech courses.
- Citizenship – The applicant must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam
- Qualifying Examination – The applicant needs to have passed 10+2 exam in the same sitting without grace marks with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum marks in qualifying exam: The candidate needs to have scored minimum 50% (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying exam.
- Age limit: The candidate must not be more than 21 years or below 17 years of age as on August 1, 2020.

Assam CEE Application Form 2020
ASTU will release the application form of Assam CEE 2020 in online mode around the 1st week of March. The steps to fill the application for is described below.
- Registration – The first step in the Assam CEE application filing process is registration. To register enter details like name, mobile number and email id. On successful registration, a candidate account would be created.
- Filling of the application form – This step will have various sections like personal, academic and contact details; duly fill in all the details. The candidate will also have to select an exam centre from where they would like to take the test from.
- Uploading of scanned documents – Next scanned copies of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Payment of application fee – The exam fee amount of Rs. 750 has to be paid in online mode using net banking, credit or debit cards.
- Submission of application form – Check all details before submitting the form to complete the Assam CEE 2020 application process.
