ATMA 2021 – AIMS Test for Management Admissions (or ATMA) is a national-level online-based entrance exam for admission to MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCA programs offered by some 200 institutes. The exam is administered by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) FIVE times a year. ATMA 2020 doesn’t test any specific prior knowledge of business or other subject areas or achievement in any particular subject area. Rather it will evaluate the aptitude of the student for higher management education. ATMA question paper 2020 will be 3-hours long, and contain 6 sections, including verbal skill, quantitative skill and analytical reasoning sections. ATMA Eligibility Criteria 2021
An applicant will be eligible for admission to a program of their choice only if they meet the ATMA 2021 eligibility criteria specified for that program. It is recommended to confirm one’s eligibility even before filling the ATMA 2021 application form, because otherwise the applicant may be disqualified at any stage of the admission process.

ATMA Registration 2021
Exam officials will release the ATMA application 2021 in online mode tentatively in the last week of November / early December. It is recommended that before proceeding to fill the form, the applicant ascertains their eligibility.
How to fill the application form of ATMA 2021
- Payment of application fee: The candidate has to first pay the ATMA exam fee of Rs. 1298 in online mode using either credit or debit card. Note that Internet Banking facility is not available.
- Personal Identification Number (PID): On successful payment of the exam fee, Personal Identification Number (PID) will be generated, which will be sent to the registered email id or mobile number of the candidate. The candidate must note down the PID number, as it will be default log-in to re-print, download ATMA admit card and ATMA result.
- Filling of the ATMA registration form 2021: In this step, the candidate will be required to fill in their personal, academic and contact details. The candidate will also be required to enter their preferred Test City, based on which allotment of ATMA test centre 2021 will be made. The candidate will also be required to fill in their choice of institutions for reporting ATMA scores.
- Upload photograph and signature: The documents must be uploaded as per the prescribed specification.
On successful completion of the ATMA 2021 registration process, login password would be generated which would be sent to the candidate’s registered email id and mobile number.

ATMA Admit Card 2021
The admit card of ATMA 2021 can be generated post successful completion of the registration process. After the registration is complete and the login password has been generated, click on the admit card generation tab. The ATMA 2021 admit card is an important document for sitting in the computer-based test and will include details like the date and time of the exam, name and address of the allotted ATMA 2021 exam centre, and roll number. On the day of the ATMA exam 2020, the candidate along with the admit card must also bring with them a valid photo id proof. Also note that the admit card will be required even after the completion of the exam, at the time of counselling and seat document verification.
ATMA Test Centres 2021
The candidate will have to select ATMA 2021 test centres at the time of filling the application from. A maximum to TWO exam centres can be selected. The candidate will be allotted ATMA test centre 2021 after considering factors like number of candidates for a specific centre, address of the candidate, etc.

ATMA Exam Pattern 2021
Candidates appearing in the online exam need to carefully go through every minute detail of the ATMA 2021 exam pattern, and incorporate the insights into their exam preparation. Take for example, the ATMA question paper 2021 will include 180 multiple choice questions, which have to be attempted in 180 minutes. This means that the candidate has 60 seconds to answer a question. So, when preparing for the exam, the candidate will have to focus on both speed and accuracy to get a good score.

ATMA Result 2021
Exam officials will upload the ATMA scores 2021 in the candidate login, five days after the test date. To check their ATMA results, the candidate will have to login to the portal using their login credentials. Note that the ATMA 2021 result would be declared for all candidates who have appeared in the online exam. Management institutions that will use ATMA scores 2021, will prepare a merit list for the counselling cum admission process.
Reporting of ATMA scores 2021
- The ATMA score report 2021 will include FOUR scores: Quantitative, Verbal, Analytical and Total scores
- Scores will be reported in a) SCALED, and 2) PERCENTILE form.
- Note that the score report will not include RAW scores.

ATMA Selection Process 2021
The participating institutes of ATMA 2021 will prepare merit lists based on ATMA scores to shortlist candidates for the seat allotment process. Candidates who are included in the ATMA merit list 2021 will be issued call letters for the next rounds of the admission process, which will comprise:
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Written Ability Test (WAT)
- Personal Interview (PI)
During the GD phase, candidates will be put into small groups, where they will debate and discuss on a topic given by the admission committee. Group discussion topics may be based on social, economic and political subjects. The GD will evaluate the candidate’s negotiation, communication, managerial, and communication skills. The personality of the candidate will also be closely observed.
Meanwhile, the WAT will evaluate how well the candidate is able to read and write. Some of the key parameters like writing ability, vocabulary, grammatical ability, hold over language, and ability to convey one’s thoughts will be tested.
Personal Interview is another important part of the AMAT selection process, and may include components like past academic credentials, communication skills, knowledge of exam topics, and presentation skills.
