CLAT Application Form 2020 – The Consortium of NLUs has further extended the last date of submission of CLAT 2020 application form to July 1 from May 18. The consortium hasn’t released any new exam date for CLAT 2020, but considering the previous exam date was June 21, it now stands postponed. The online application form of CLAT 2020 opened on January 1, 2020. The CLAT application form 2020 is for admission to 5-year integrated LLB and LLM courses offered by the 22 NLUs. In addition, CLAT 2020 scores will also be accepted by affiliate colleges. The CLAT application process would include steps like registration, filling of form, uploading of documents, and payment of fee. CLAT admit card will be issued upon successful application. CLAT 2020 Registration Dates

The Consortium of NLUs has extended the CLAT application form to July 1. CLAT 2020 exam schedule for remaining events, including release of admit card, will be released soon.

CLAT 2020 application form filling process 

The application form of CLAT 2020 has to be filled and submitted in online mode. Before filling the CLAT application form 2020, it is imperative that the applicants confirm their eligibility as otherwise their candidature would be rejected. Also, note that all details entered in the CLAT 2020 application form would be verified at the time of document verification process, so only genuine and verifiable information must be used.

Steps to fill the CLAT 2020 application form

The application form of CLAT 2020 can be filled by following these steps.

  1. Registration – In this step the candidate will have to get registered by entering name and valid mobile number. The candidate will also have to choose and confirm a password for the new applicant account.
  2. Filling of application form – Upon creation of the account, the candidate can proceed to fill the application form which will have various sections like personal, academic and contact details. Other important tasks in this step include – 
  • Selection of admission course (undergraduate or postgraduate)
  • Whether the candidate require previous years’ CLAT question papers (Yes/No)
  • Category under which admission is sought
  • CLAT 2020 exam centre selection; a maximum of three options allowed
  • NLU preference; the candidate will have to select NLUs in the order of preference. Note that this order will be considered during CLAT 2020 seat allotment.
  • Preview of application form – The candidate next can preview the filled in CLAT 2020 application form and check whether all details are in place and they are correct. IF satisfied, SUBMIT the details.
  • Uploading of documents – The applicant next has to upload photograph, signature, and domicile and category certificates in the prescribed format; refer the table below.

  1. Payment of CLAT 2020 application fee

The applicant has to finally pay the CLAT application fee to complete the application process. The application fee of CLAT 2020 can be paid in online mode only. The application fee is non-refundable.

Additional fees: If the candidate wants to obtain previous years’ question papers, then additional payment of Rs. 500 has to be paid. 

CLAT 2020 Admit Cards

The Consortium of NLUs will issue admit cards to only such candidates who have completed the CLAT 2020 application process. The CLAT 2020 admit card will bear such details like the name and roll number of the candidate, date and time of exam, and CLAT 2020 exam centre name and address. In addition, it will contain CLAT exam day guidelines that one needs to follow to stay out of trouble and for the smooth conduct of the exam.

  1. Click of the admit card download link
  2. In the log-in window that opens, enter mobile number and password
  3. The CLAT admit card will be displayed on screen
  4. Download and take a printout of the admit card
