LSAT India 2020 – The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is all set to conduct the LSAT India 2020 in online remote proctored mode from July 19, 2020 onward. LSAT—India until last year was administered in pencil-and-paper mode, but owing to the COVID-19 situation, the exam has gone online. The LSAT India application form 2020 is currently open in online mode till July 5. LSAT India 2020 will test the reading, informal reasoning, and deductive reasoning skills of candidates, which are considered essential in the study and practise of law. The LSAT India 2020 question paper will have four sections – Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning (1), Logical Reasoning (2), and Reading Comprehension. LSAT India Eligibility Criteria 2020
LSAC doesn’t prescribe any eligibility criteria for LSAT India 2020. Instead it is the LSAT score accepting law schools that will prescribe a certain minimum LSAT score or cutoff that the candidate has to obtain to be eligible for admission. In addition to these, the law schools may also prescribe other eligibility conditions like qualifying exam, minimum marks in qualifying exam, and in some cases also age limit.
Basic eligibility criteria one must fulfill for admission to law courses
- 3-year LLB program: Minimum of 45% marks in graduation.
- 5-year integrated LLB program: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 exam
- LLM program: Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying graduate exam.
Please note that unlike LSAT India, CLAT, AILET, MH CET law and a host of other exams prescribe specific eligibility criteria for sitting in the exam.
