The MAT scorecard 2020 will contain details like the name and roll number of the candidate, scaled sectional and overall scores, composite score, and the percentile. The candidate after checking MAT result 2020 online, must download and take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.

Three types of scores mentioned on MAT 2020 scorecard

  1. MAT Scaled score
  2. MAT Composite score
  3. MAT Percentile score

MAT 2020 scores are valid for a period of one year. MAT scores are scaled and composite scores can range from 199-801. Importantly, in the final MAT 2020 results, scores of the General Knowledge section are not counted.

MAT 2020 Counselling and Selection Procedure

There will be no centralized counselling of MAT 2020, meaning AIMA is not responsible for the admission process, as its role ends with the conduct of the exam and declaration of results. Instead the participating institutes of MAT 2020 will conduct their own institute-specific counselling based on MAT 2020 scores.

Each of these institutes will publish MAT 2020 cutoffs to shortlist candidates for the counselling process. Such candidates who meet the MAT cutoff 2020 criteria specified by an institute will be eligible to participate in the seat allotment process conducted by that institute.

The selection criteria of institutes may include all or any of the following elements:

  • Written Ability Test (WAT)
  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Personal Interview (PI)

At the time of MAT 2020 registration, the candidate has the option to select five institutes that will receive MAT 2020 scores. And after the MAT result is declared, the candidate can apply to these institutes, who will then publish cutoffs and merit lists for admission.
