MAT Exam Pattern 2021 – Sectional time limits explained
- Each section will have to to be completed within a fixed time limit.
- Once the time for a section is over, the candidate will not be able to answer questions from that section
- For example, the “Mathematical Skills” section has to be completed in 40 minutes. So, once the 40 minutes are up, the candidate will have to move to the next section.
- Considering the sectional time limits, the candidate needs to be smart with their time management, like not spending prodigious time on difficult questions.
- The MAT 2021 question paper will include 200 questions that have to be answered in 150 minutes. Moreover, there are sectional time limits.

The online application form of MAT 2021 will be released tentatively in the 4th week of December. The MAT 2021 application form will be for admission to MBA, PGDM, and other allied courses offered by participating institutes.
