NEET PG 2021 – Admission to MD, MS, and Post Graduate Diploma courses across all medical and dental institutions in the country will be on the basis of the NEET PG 2021 exam only. A national-level exam, NEET PG 2021 will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) tentatively in the 1st week of January. As per the official NEET PG exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in computer-based mode, will be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration and include 300 MCQs. NEET PG merit list 2021 will be prepared based on marks obtained by candidates in the exam. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling; the MCC will conduct the counselling for 50% AIQ, while respective state counselling authorities will conduct counselling for 50% state quota seats. NEET PG application will open in online mode tentatively in the 1st week of November.

NEET PG application form
The NBE will release the online application form of NEET PG 2021 tentatively in the 1st week of November. The steps to fill the NEET PG 2021 application form is mentioned below.
- Online registration – The candidate has to first get registered by entering details like name, gender, date of birth, email id and phone number. On successful NEET PG 2021 registration, user id and password will be created.
- Filling of the application form – Log-in to newly created account using user id and password to access the application form of NEET PG 2021. The form will have various fields like personal and qualification, which have to be duly filled. The candidate will also have to enter their preferred exam centre in the step.
- Uploading of documents – Various documents that have to be uploaded include photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, and MCI/SMC registration certificate
- Payment of application fee – In the last step, the candidate has to pay the application fee and take a printout of the acknowledgement receipt.

Correction of the NEET PG 2021 application fees

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2021

NEET PG Admit Card 2021
The NBE will upload the admit card of NEET PG 2021 on its official website that has to be downloaded by entering one’s log-in id and password. Also, the NEET PG 2021 admit card will be issued only to such candidates who have successfully registered for the exam, including payment of fees. The NEET PG admit card 2021 will carry information like the name and roll number of the candidate, exam timings, and NEET PG exam centre details.
On the day of the computer-based exam, candidates need to also bring them a valid photo id proof along with the admit card.
NEET PG Exam Centres 2021
The NBE will conduct the NEET PG 2021 exam at 162 cities in the country. Each of these cities may have one or more NEET PG 2021 exam centres. At the time of filling the application form, the candidate only needs to select an exam city. Final NEET PG exam centre allotment will be based on factors like city selected by the candidate, address details, and availability of seats in relevant exam centres. Details of allotted NEET PG exam centre 2021 will be mentioned on the admit card.
NEET PG Result 2021
The result of NEET PG 2021 will be released for all the candidates who have appeared in the computer-based exam tentatively in the last week of January. NEET PG 2021 result can be checked online on the official NBE website both in consolidated form (pdf containing results of all candidates) and personal form (score cards of individual candidates). To download the NEET PG score card, the candidate will have to log-in using their log-in id and password. The NEET PG scorecard 2021 would have to be produced at the time of counselling, as part of the document verification process.
The NBE will also release a NEET PG merit list 2021 for 50% AIQ, which will be used for seat allotment to AIQ seats, counselling for which will be conducted by the MCC. Note that only such candidates who are listed in the NEET PG merit list 2021 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
NEET PG Counselling 2021
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for the conduct of NEET PG 2021 counselling for admission to AIQ seats. MCC will conduct NEET PG counselling 2021 in online mode, wherein eligible candidates will have to register online for counselling, participate in choice filling and locking, and undergo document verification. There will be two rounds of ONLINE counselling, but an additional mop-up round will also be conducted for Deemed, Central Universities & ESIC institutes.
The counselling for 50% state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities.

NEET PG Cut off 2021
Candidates seeking admission to MD, MD and postgraduate diploma courses need to meet the NEET PG cutoff 2021 released by the MCC, which is also called the admission cutoff. The NEET PG cutoff 2021 will indicate the minimum rank the candidate needs to secure to get admission to a postgraduate medical or dental program in their preferred college and in their respective category.
The admission cutoff is not the same as the qualifying cutoff, which is actually the minimum percentile (or marks) the candidate needs to secure to qualify in NEET PG 2021 entrance exam. This means if the candidate fails to secure a rank or marks equivalent to or higher than the qualifying cutoff, then they will be considered to have failed in the exam. Consequently, they can’t participate in the counselling process.
Meanwhile, those candidates who qualify in NEET PG exam 2021 will be eligible to participate in counselling. The admission cutoff of NEET PG 2021 will be applicable to these category of candidates only.
