NEET Result 2020 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the result of NEET 2020 tentatively in the last week of August. NEET 2020 result would be declared online on NTA website – ntaneet.nic.in. To check their results, candidates need to log-in to the result portal using roll number, DOB, and security code. NTA officials will not send NEE 2020 results by post or any other means.
NTA would also release scorecards for candidates who qualify in the NEET 2020 exam. NTA NEET score card 2020 will contain info like name, roll number, subject-wise percentile, total marks obtained (out of 720), NEET AIR, and All India Quota Rank (for 15% seats), and qualifying status of the candidate. NEET answer key 2020 will also be released alongside the result, but there will be no provision to challenge either answer key or result. NTA will also release NEET 2020 merit list, which will be used for national and state-level counselling.

NTA NEET Score Cards 2020

How to download NEET Score Card 2020
The NEET 2020 scorecard would be released alongside the result for candidates who qualify in the exam. So one can download the score card when checking their results, provided he/she has qualified in the exam.

NEET Result 2020: Tie-breaking process
In case two or more candidates score the same marks /percentile in NEET 2020, the inter-se merit will be decided as follows:
- higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in NEET 2020
- higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry in NEET 2020
- less proportion of number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test,
- The candidate older in age
NEET Merit List 2020 for counselling under 15% All India Quota
NTA will prepare the NEET 2020 merit list for candidates who have opted for 15% All India Quota seats based on marks obtained in NEET (UG) 2020. NTA will also share the merit list with the DGHS (Medical Examination Cell), who will conduct Online counselling to fill 15% All India quota seats.
Merit list for seats other than 15% All India Quota
- NTA will prepare and share All India Rank and Result with the DGHS
- Admitting Authorities will invite applications for Counselling.
- The admitting/counselling authorities will draw a merit list of the candidates based on All India Rank in the respective categories declared by the candidates at the time of applying for admission/counselling as per State applicable rules.

NEET Counselling 2020
The NEET 2020 counselling process for admission to undergraduate medical courses would be conducted through two channels:
- Counselling for Seats Under 15% All India Quota and all seats in Central Institutions
- Counselling and Admission for seats other than 15% All India seats
NEET Counselling 2020 for Seats Under 15% All India Quota and all seats in Central Institutions
- The counselling for seats under this group would be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
- The counselling will be conducted online.

- Counselling for 85% seats would be conducted by respective State Counselling Authorities
- Admission to both private and public medical and dental colleges in the state will be done through state counselling.
