PGIMER Counselling 2020 – The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh will conduct PGIMER counselling 2020 for MD/MS courses tentatively in July 2020. PGIMER counselling 2020 would be conducted in offline mode and include three rounds. In case there are vacant seats left after these rounds, a Spot round of counselling will also be conducted. The counselling process would be open to such candidates who have qualified in the computer-based PGIMER 2020 exam and are included in the category-wise merit lists. As part of the PGIMER counselling process, the candidate has to report in person at the designated venue with originals and photocopies of all relevant documents, and participate in choice filling. PGIMER 2020 Counselling Process
The counselling process after declaration of PGIMER result 2020. The step-wise PGIMER counselling process is described below:
- Merit Lists: Candidates who are included in the category-wise PGIMER 2020 merit lists would be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
- Rank letter: Eligible MD/MS applicants need to download and get a printout of their rank letter; it has to be produced at the time of document verification.
- Report in person for PGIMER counselling 2020: The candidate has to next report for PGIMER counselling and seat allotment at the assigned time and date along with originals and photocopies of all essential documents.
- Number of participants in counselling: The total number of candidates that will be invited for counselling will be three times the number of seats available for that round.
- Choice filling: Candidates will be invited to pick their preference of college and specialisation as per their PGIMER 2020 merit rank.
- PGIMER Seat allotment 2020: The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of the merit rank of the candidate and the choices opted for admission.
- Document verification and payment of fees: Post seat allotment, the candidate has to get her documents verified and pay the admission fee.
