XAT Exam Pattern 2021 – XLRI, Jamshedpur, the exam conducting authority, will release the exam pattern of XAT 2021 outlining the format and structure of the online exam. The candidate by consulting XAT 2021 exam pattern will know what are the various sections of the test, mode of exam, types of questions asked, time duration and other such details which are crucial for exam preparation. Typically, XAT question paper has four sections – Decision Making, Verbal & Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. The total duration of the XAT 2021 exam will be 3 hours, but for the GK section candidates will get only 15 minutes. XAT 2012. XAT 2021 Exam Pattern 

XAT 2021 exam date January 3, 2021 (Tentative)

Sections XAT 2021 will have the following FOUR sections:  
Decision MakingVerbal & Logical AbilityQuantitative Ability & Data InterpretationGeneral Knowledge
Exam duration 180 minutes
Type of questions Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Each question will be followed by four answer options, out of which one will be the correct answer. 
Number of questions 100 (approx)
Note: last year there were 99 questions. 
Total Marks 100 (approximate)
Language of exam The paper will be available in English language only.
XAT 2021 Marking scheme For every correct, 1 mark will be awarded; in case of wrong answer, there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each question
Special note on GK section: There is no negative marking for this section

XAT Syllabus 2021 

When preparing for the exam, along with the exam pattern one should also refer to XAT syllabus 2021. It is because the XAT syllabus will help identify topics that one needs to study for the exam. If one is, however, not updated about the exam syllabus then they might end up spending prodigious time on irrelevant topics, and so won’t contribute anything to score.
